Thank you to all who participated in the surveys that have been undertaken as part of this study:
- Winter survey of air service use, held between March 4 and March 10, 2010
- Tourism operator survey, held during Spring 2010
- Spring ferry travel survey, held between June 2 and June 8, ,2010
- Pelee Island tourism experience survey held between July 9 and July 11, 2010.
Preliminary results from these surveys were presented at Public Information Centre (PIC) #1 held July 15, 16 and17. More details will be provided as the study moves forward.
Thank you to stakeholders who have provided comments. Our responses to public comments received for the period of February 1 to July 1, 2010 can be viewed here. We have provided the entire set of comments and responses so all can see the full spectrum of issues identified to date. Comments received after July 1, 2010 and in response to information presented at PIC #1 will be considered as the study moves forward, and we will provide another set of responses in the Fall of 2010.
